Slot Canyon Guide participates in affiliate partnerships with travel booking platforms, including Viator (via Awin), GetYourGuide (via CJ Affiliate), Booking.com and Discover Cars. When you book a tour, hotel or rental car through a link on this site, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how the site funds itself — it pays for hosting, the next research visit, and the quarterly price verification.

What this means for my recommendations

I only recommend operators, tours and hotels I would book myself. Commission rates across the affiliate programs I use are roughly similar, so there is no financial incentive for me to push you towards one operator over another. My incentive is to help you book something you'll be happy with, because that's what generates return visitors and word-of-mouth.

I do not accept payment from operators to list or rank them. Every recommendation is based on on-the-ground research, published operator policies and cross-verification with third-party review platforms.

How to identify affiliate links

Affiliate links on this site carry the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute (required by Google and FTC disclosure rules) and open in a new tab. You'll see clear “Affiliate disclosure” banners at the top of any page that contains affiliate links, and every affiliate CTA is labelled with the destination platform (e.g. “Book via Viator”).
